Shipping and Handling

Deliveries take place Monday to Friday with Noma’s vehicle or external partners. The delivery time frame is between 11:00 – 18:00. Time restrictions within this time frame cannot be applied. Recipients get notified about the estimated delivery time during the route, through a phone call or sms/viber message. You may experience delays under extraordinary circumstances such as bad weather conditions, traffic, strikes etc.

In case the recipient is not sure they can receive the delivery within these hours, they should select “pick-up from store”.

Shipping for all products flagged as “Available” are made within 2* working ** days if the order has been placed on a working day until 16:00. Orders placed after 16:00 require an additional day. More specifically:

Shipping costs for door-to-door delivery follow three (3) basic billing zones while in Zone 4 we are currently unable to ship refrigerated products (foods and sweets). Zones are defined based on zip codes, as described below:

  • Zone 1 (3,5€) 10xxx-14564, 14578-163xx, 17xxx, 181xx – 187xx
  • Zone 2 (5,0€) 14565-14576, 164xx-167xx, 18863
  • Zone 3 (7,5€) 180xx, 189xx – 19xxx
  • Zone 4 (189xx, 18010-18050 deliveries are not supported
* In case the postal code is not mentioned above, the charge is € 7.5.
** Cash on delivery is charged 1.5 € extra

Shipping for all non-refrigerated products (foods, sweets) flagged as “Available” takes place within 2 business days upon the order date with a cost of 3,5€

In case your order includes refrigerated products, door-to-door shipping is being supported for the post codes in the list below:

  • Thessaloniki (5,0€) 53438-54454, 54621-57001, 57004, 57008, 57009, 57013,57019, 57400
  • Heraklion – Creta (5,0€) 71201 – 71414, 71601
  • Chalkida, Nea Artaki, Vasiliko (10€): 34100, 34600, 34002

For shipping to the rest of Greece, orders are packed in insulated boxes that include refrigerants. Deliveries take place between Monday and Thursday with transportation companies or even KTEL buses, hereinafter referred to as “partners”. The cost is 10€ to 15€ depending on the destination.

Customers should pick up their orders from a partner’s destination site (not door-to-door supported) as soon as possible, after arrival, to ensure products remain in excellent condition. Noma is not responsible for pick up delays on the customer’s end.

In case there are multiple delivery partners available for a particular destination, Noma customer care contacts the customer in order to agree which would be the best choice.

Sweets are not being dispatched to the Saronic gulf islands or to any areas outside Attica.

From that day, the partner has the responsibility of delivering the order to its final destination within 48 hours.

  • In case of any extreme natural phenomena, strikes or any unexpected restriction factor, some partners may not be able to accept or deliver the package to its final destination. In such cases, Noma has the right to change the delivery date after notifying the customer accordingly.
  • In extraordinary circumstances of a heavy working load, an extra day may be needed

If the delivery day coincides with a public holiday, the order will be delivered in the next immediate working day.

In case of poorly accessible areas, Noma:

  • has the right to cancel the order if no partner can deliver
  • may increase shipping charges after receiving consent from the customer
